As we embark on our study of 1 Corinthians, Pastor Javier reminded us of the transformative power of returning to the Gospel. In the face of division, individualism, and worldly wisdom, we're called to remember that Christ is our common Lord, the source of our unity, and the foundation of our faith. This message speaks directly to our tendency to create divisions within the church based on preferences or social status.

By emphasizing our shared calling in Christ, we're encouraged to strive for unity, humility, and love – fruits of the Spirit that should mark our community. As we reflect on this, let's ask ourselves: How can we return to the Gospel in our daily lives and church interactions?

Al comenzar nuestro estudio de 1 Corintios, el Pastor Javier nos recordó el poder transformador de volver al Evangelio. La primera carta de Pablo a los Corintios sirve como un espejo para nuestras propias vidas espirituales, desafiándonos a examinar en qué aspectos nos hemos desviado de la centralidad de Cristo. El tema recurrente de “Cristo es...” a lo largo de los versículos iniciales reorienta poderosamente nuestro enfoque.

Frente a la división, el individualismo y la sabiduría del mundo, somos llamados a recordar que Cristo es nuestro Señor común, la fuente de nuestra unidad y el fundamento de nuestra fe.
